About Jeff Campbell

In 1986, Jeff Campbell was sitting 12,000 feet high on Mount Kilimanjaro with a journal in his hand. Asked to map his future goals, Jeff outlined a “second act” in which he would evolve from corporate leader to educator, speaker, writer and connector. More than 30 years later, he is living the words in that journal and helping others achieve the same success.

Drawing on his experience as the former CEO of Burger King and ex-Chairman of the Pillsbury Restaurant Group–which also included Steak and Ale, Bennigan’s and Godfather’s Pizza restaurant chains–Jeff serves as the Brinker Executive In Residence at the L. Robert Payne School of Hospitality & Tourism Management at San Diego State University and Program Director for the school’s Hospitality & Tourism Management Master’s Program.

Jeff is the Chairman Emeritus at The Chairmen’s Roundtable, a San Diego-based organization composed of former CEOs and entrepreneurs that engage in free-of-charge mentoring services for local businesses, and Co-Founder of Wisdom Capture, a mobile leadership development tool. Earlier in his career, Jeff held the posts of Senior Vice President, Brand Development for Pepsi-Cola, as well as CEO of the Johnny Rockets and Catalina Restaurant Groups.

“He has an amazing amount of wisdom in one person on multiple decision points that you have to make as a business owner.” – Ken Wahlster, Founder BikeBandit & 8 Ball Tires

In addition to his professional engagements, Jeff channels his experience, intellect and genuine passion for helping leaders succeed into JJC Coaching, a career resource built on relationships and collaboration.
